Bouncer and the Swing

I rarely use the bouncer and the swing that are in the bathroom. Mainly because Taylor tries to crawl out of it...and ends up screaming and Luke is too heavy for the swing to even move anymore. But lately they haven't been cat napping after their morning bottle and they want me to get them. These pictures were a few days ago and Taylor made me get out of the shower 3 times to help her back up...So this morning I tried something a little new...I put the bouncer up beside the swing so Taylor could see Luke plainly and wouldn't try to get to him. While I was in the shower I hear Taylor screaming. I look out and Luke took Taylor's pacifier out of her mouth (one of his favorite things to do) and Taylor took Luke's cow blanket and was throwing it around. Luke could care less because he loves playing with her pacifier. She was not happy. It was cute though...Luke had the biggest grin on his face.

He loves to spit and he showers everything with his DNA. :)

Little Follower & Big Watcher

Taylor is on the move and exploring. She's now pulling herself up to standing in her crib and a few times up to the excersaucer. She now follows me. If I'm in the kitchen or office, she'll make her way out to see what I'm doing. It's funny because I'll keep putting her back and she's getting faster and faster at crawling back and of course if there's something to get into on the way....she's check it out. She like dumping the diaper bag and finding toys. Notice Luke content watching. :) He's getting around more too though...via rolling and rocking. Luke often goes backwards ending up under things like the play yard.

One of my favorite things to do now-a-days. Make them giggle. :)

Little Pigs and Big Pigs

It amazes me the size difference between Luke and Taylor's hands and feet. Nick and I weighed them the other day and Luke was 26lbs and Taylor was 17lbs. We'll get official weigh ins at the docs appt on the 20th. But Wow...almost 10lbs difference. Luke has moved up in diaper size now too. I was so reluctant to take the leap because I'm cheap and there's less diapers in the next size up but he was leaking out the front a lot and two diapers was no longer doing it. So size 4 it is. Taylor is using up her size 2's and moving into the 3's now. They are plenty big for her.

Taylor's Piggy Tail and Waking from Naps

Taylor's wild hair day inspired me to put that mohawk into a piggy tail. Here's the result. I think it's cute.

She is always poking at her ears when she's got a bottle.
She likes to feed herself now on her own terms.
She also throws the bottle when she thinks she's done. (then cries)
