Devotion Time, Brother, Groceries

Taylor playing with her dolls....making them talk to each other.

Every morning I have devotions with the Lord. It's one of my favorite times of the day. I put both Luke and Taylor in their pack and plays and I sit on the couch, eat breakfast and get into God's word. It's so sweet to watch Luke and Taylor playing on their own. They are sooo boy and sooo girl. Taylor will play with little dolls and make them talk to each other while Luke bangs things together to see what happens. They love to look out the windows and read books. Today Luke was pretending to talk on the phone and then he'd slam the phone down. It's just a precious time for me. I hope I'll be able to keep it up as they grow up. Yes somedays they are more needy then others and my time may be 20 mins instead of 30 but it's something they have learned to get used to. It's mommy's time with God. Taylor heard Luke playing with the phone and she stood up and pointed across the room to him and kept saying "BROTHER, BROTHER." If you ask her where her brother is she puts her finger on him and says, BROTHER. So cute. Luke doesn't appreciate the finger in his face though. I was cutting up fruit for them today and I heard lots of giggling. I look and they had the cushions off the couch and they were playing on them. Luke was on top of Taylor hitting her belly and she was cracking up. I've really had to watch him though. He's been getting in a lot of trouble for hitting and throwing everything. He really doesn't seem to mind sitting in an empty pack and play either. He also immediatly hugs her when being told to stop. Cute but doesn't stop him from doing it again. Today he hit her in the face with a lego and I put him in an empty pack and play....I went back to cutting fruit and heard giggling and BROTHER, BROTHER. Taylor was bringing him toys and poking him through the pack and play and repeating BROTHER, BROTHER like she was sad. Luke was giggling at her and patting the top of her head. I let him out and went back to cutting fruit and I heard AWWW...so I look and Taylor is running her fingers through his hair and he was enjoying it. They can't keep their hands off each other.

Luke and Taylor are loving fresh fruit.

Cracks me up how they come up to the gate waiting for milk or juice. My little livestock. :)

I try really hard to save money at the grocery store. It's a challenge for me. I'd just like to share that I saved almost 60% last night. Paid $70, saved $40. My total bill was $110.00 and this included lots of fresh fruit and cleaning products which aren't the cheapest and I didn't have coupons for any of those. However by combining store sales with my fifty million coupons....lol....I saved $40.00! So I paid $70 for $110 worth of groceries. I get kinda excited, can you tell? I got a $4.99 pizza for 99 cents by combining store sale with coupon. I got 4 jars of Ragu spaghetti sauce for 30 cents each. Store sale plus coupon. :) I got free stuff too. A free box of wheat thins, a free snickers and free Reeses PB cups. I've gotten toothpaste a few times completely free. Good stuff. :)
