Aunt Marie

My Aunt Marie passed away Thursday morning. She was one of the sweetest women I've ever known. She was my mom's oldest sibling in a family of 6 girls and 2 boys. My mom and aunts always sound like cackling hens when they get together but my Aunt Marie was always the quiet one. When she did speak, though...everyone listened because her words were always very worth hearing. She had such a great sense of humor...and the way she spoke things and her quiet demeanor made it all the more funny and sweet. We always got our kitty cats growing up from her farm and she was the best maker ever of potato salad. :) There are some hilarious things she'd said that I'll never forget. She'll be very missed but I know their was rejoicing in heaven as she was welcomed. Funeral is Monday, say a prayer for my mom and my Aunt's family.
