Taylor: {holding her shirt up} Mommy, I have two babies in my belly at the same time. One is named Mary and the other Gabriel.
Luke: No you don't.
Taylor: Actually I have FIVE babies in my belly. Mary, Gabriel, Sophie, Luke and Mommy.
Luke: You're crazy.

Every morning Luke offers me his lambies to cuddle with, this morning he wanted to cuddle too...he's never quiet in the AM but this morning as Taylor was sleeping in, he cuddled with me and sang "Bless the Lord O my Soul" softly. Can you get a better start to the day?

As I was drying my hair this morning the kids were pretending their closet was the stable and Taylor's baby was Jesus. They had him on a pillow and wrapped in blankets and had all their stuffed animals around baby Jesus. Taylor was Mary and Luke was Joseph. Taylor: Mommy LOOK! Baby Jesus....isn't this EXCITING!!! I'm soooo excited! Luke: Umm Mary...baby Jesus is hungry, you should feed him some hot cereal and milk. Mary: Oh okay. {feeds him and lays him back down} Luke: Baby Jesus is crying. Me: You better pick him up Joseph. Luke: It's okay baby. {rocking him and laying him down} Taylor: EWW baby Jesus is stinky! Joseph, you better change him, he pooped. Luke: nut uh. That's gross.

Taylor: Mom! Did you hear the baby in my belly growling? :)

The kids seriously NEVER get sick of watching our wedding video. They still ask to watch it and the reception often. Taylor gets just as excited every time I walk down the isle. "That's MY Mommy!" And Luke gets just as excited every time to see Danny and Lorrie sing. :)

‎{First thing this morning.} Taylor: I LOVE you Mommy! {hugs and kisses} Today I'm gonna obey and listen to you and make Jesus soooo happy! :) {shouldn't we all start out with that attitude?}

Luke: Mom, why did God make Goliath since he's so mean? {Ever since we've been talking about our choice to obey or not...be nice or not, etc.}

Me: What do you think we should give Jesus for his birthday? What do you think he'd like? Luke: I can draw him a picture of children! :) Taylor: Prolly for us to be nice to each other and share and obey and stuff.

Taylor: My friends and I were playing and we were playing with this other friend and you ARE NOT GONNA BELIEVE IT MOM! We didn't realize BUT GUESS WHAT? HE WAS JESUS! We didn't realize he was Jesus but he was! Me: Really? Taylor: Yup and we played with him and it was SOOO much fun.

‎{bathtime} Me: What is that in the water? Luke: I didn't poop Mom! Must be Taylor. Taylor: I DID NOT! Me: What is it? Taylor: Umm...Jesus pooped in there, it splashed down from heaven. He had to go really bad!

Big News!

Looks like I'll get to experience what it's like to carry one baby at a time. :) God is good. :)

Nick and I were completely shocked by the news of baby #3, but God wasn't. Nick and I didn't think it was possible, but with God all things are possible.

Taylor: {talking on her phone} Oh hi, how are you doing. I'm doing fine Joseph. Me: Who are you talking to? Taylor: Joseph the carpenter. I'm gonna marry him. Me: Oh you are? Taylor: Yup, I'm Mary. I'm gonna marry Joseph. {walking away}...Oh that's nice Joseph. Sure. Okay, I gotta go, we'll talk later, someone else is calling me. Oh hi Elizabeth! How are you doing? How's Zechariah doing? He fell down? Oh my word! Is he okay? Oh that's good. How's John in your belly? He did what? He just flipped out of your belly? That's crazy! Congratulations. Oh Mama, Zechariah wants to talk to you. Me: Are you sure he can talk? He's not answering me. Taylor: Give me the phone. Zechariah! Congratulations! Yeah...MOM HE CAN TALK. John the Baptist was already born, Here! Talk to him! Me: {talking to him} Taylor: I need to talk to Elizabeth. Hey Elizabeth. Yeah...I'm gonna marry Joseph. Yup got flowers and a dress. Yup Jesus is in my belly. Can you believe it, THE ANGEL GABRIEL APPEARED TO ME!!! I'm so excited. Me: Hey Taylor, did you ask Daddy if you can marry Joseph. Taylor: Oh he said yes. Me: Let me call him. Did you tell Mary she can marry Joseph. Oh you didn't? Taylor: Give me the phone. Can I marry Joseph Daddy? I can! Good! MOM...YES I CAN! Actually the angel told me to. :)

Kids are loving puzzles lately. They put together a 48 piece with no help and today needed very little help with a 100 piece puzzle. Love watching them work on them together. :)

‎{Taylor with her play phone} Taylor: Hi Jesus! How are you doing? OH MY WORD! Are you serious? {holds phone down to talk to us} Jesus said one of his sheep ran off to college! He went and got him though and brought him home. {continues to talk} Yeah...that's good you have him now. Umm Dad Jesus wants to talk to you, here you go. {Daddy talks to Jesus for awhile while we listen} Taylor: Jesus said that grandpa Risser came down from heaven! Can you believe it? Ok Jesus, have a good day, love you! ...{phone "rings" again} Taylor: Hi...Dad, it's Jesus' Daddy. Nick: you mean God the father? Taylor: Yup it's God and he wants to talk to you! {Daddy talks to God} Taylor: Hi God, How's Jesus doing? Oh that's good...okay...talk to you later {phone rings again} Taylor: It's the Holy Spirit..The Holy Spirit wants to talk to you dad.... :)

‎{After brushing teeth and getting fluoride vitamin} Luke: OH MY GOODNESS MOM! We forgot to give the boy and girl that don't have toys (he meant Operation Christmas Child kids) vitamins! That's not good, Mom. They need vitamins. Mom, you need to send them vitamins, okay? Cuz we forgot, Mom. How did we forget vitamins?

Luke faithfully prays for all the guitar players in his life including Philip Herndon. But now since Worship Night with Oceans In Love, he's praying for each band member by name. He sounds out the beginning sound of each members name, and says what letter their name starts with and when he gets to Philip, he always says...Mommy, that's a tricky one cuz it starts with a P but sounds like an F. That's silly isn't it? :)

‎{ride home from bible study} Taylor: I screamed Luke's name really loud in class when I was on top of the slide. Me: You did? Why? Taylor: Cuz I wanted him to come to me. Me: Luke, did she do that? Luke: Yup. Taylor: He came up to me and I gave him hugs and kisses and said I LOVE MY BROTHER! {Looking at Luke who has a HUGE grin on his face} Me: Is that right Luke? Luke: yup.
{She's the only one who can get away with kissing him without protest. He wipes them off and says he doesn't like kisses. He always tells me HE will give ME kisses but he doesn't like getting kisses. {stinker}
