Crab Imperial

My Dad showing off the crabs. (picture from Nick's phone)

Steamed and ready to eat.
BTW I'm not fan of Maryland crabs...WAY too much work to pick and they gross me out when I'm picking them. You don't have to worry about me eating them as I'm picking...the poop, lungs and guts keep me from eating. lol I love once it's in something else...like crab imperial. :)

This is what a crab's life is worth. Doesn't that suck? Luckily I picked some bigger crabs. :)

Look at the debris from one crab! lol

I picked 9 crabs!

Finished result. YUM.

Super simple recipe for crab imperial. Well....minus trying to pick the crabs and watch 1 year old twins at the same time. That took forever. lol It was really good though. Nick had the chance to go (boat) crabbing with my Dad for the first time.

1lb of crab meat (I used 9 crabs)
2TB Mayo (I used more)
1 egg
1tsp Worchestershire Sauce
6 crackers
I added some old bay.

350 degrees for 15 mins.

I love, love, love me some fresh crab....but I'm with you--I'll let someone else do all the picking! The finished dinner looked DELISH!
