Not Me Monday

This is my first Not Me Monday...thought I'd give it a try. Click on the graphic below to see what it's about.

I most certainly did not eat Taco Bell AND McD's yesterday.
And I definitely did not eat Taco Bell leftovers today for lunch. That would be just be gross. lol

I did not find Luke with an entire arm out of his sleeper the other morning. (I guess he was having a toga party and didn't invite anyone) lol He wasn't tickled with himself either and hasn't been pulling that arm out ever since.

I most certainly did not go into the nursery 3 times last night when Taylor dropped her pacifier out of the crib. Nope. not me, I always let her cry it out and soothe herself back to sleep. I never just want to quiet her so I can sleep.

Luke and Taylor certainly did not act up in church yesterday. Luke was not making high pitched "AHH" noises and fart noises and Taylor did not make grunting noises in which everyone thought she was pooping when she just likes to make the sound. She wasn't fighting sleep and wiggling all over the place. All four of us would never have to watch Jeremy's sermon on the TV in the downstairs room of the church. Nah not us.

I didn't spill an entire container of blueberries as I was emptying my grocery cart at check out, have to run to the back of the store to get another while three employees clean up. Those stinking blueberries did not spill in the bag on the way home and weren't packaged with my canned goods. That wasn't a mess.

I didn't forget to use the Target gift card that I took to the store specifically to use.

I don't have a bunch of jarred peaches because the smell of them makes me gag. What I feed the babies has nothing to do with what I like the smell of. lol

My thighs are definitely not sore from cleaning out our filing cabinet. lol

We do not have a huge desk on our front porch until Nick has someone help him move it. That would be an eye sore and we might be red necks if we have furniture other than patio furniture on our porch. (least it's not a toilet) lol

Sunday Afternoon

Let's cuddle and read a book.

A little slobber never hurt anyone.

I don't feel teeth in my mouth? hmm...

Let me hug you Luke.

These blocks are yummy...

Luke always wraps himself in blankets.

Race is on . . .

Ummm, hello Dad??

Here's something to chew on...

Taylor started making this face and it's hilarious...she breathes in and out really hard..it's her furious face. lol

I love that you can see his teeth in this picture.

Taylor giggling.

I look a little spacey here (that's what happens when you try and get a photo with two babies eyes open) but I loved Luke's eyes in this picture.

Random Picture Challenge

My 21st picture from May. Fun little game. May's a good month for us. This is my first time holding Taylor. I remember being in awe of her...she just stared at me. It was such a precious moment. I was so amazed by her perfect little fingers and tiny fingernails.

It's a Bird, it's a Plane....it's a BIRD!

I didn't get a chance to write about this yet but it's kinda funny. I was feeding Taylor Thursday morning and I heard a scuffle. I assumed it was the usual fight over the water bowl that the dog and cat have...then I heard the cat running up the stairs. Isn't it amazing how a graceful looking cat can sound like an elephant when running up stairs? Anyhow...the cat zooms into the bedroom (where I was feeding Taylor) leaping after a BIRD. Ummmm....how did he get in here? The poor little bird was freaking out....flying from one spot to the next. Linx (my cat) had him pinned under the blinds at one point. I just kept thinking....PLEASE don't poop! He flew into my closet.....ah....my clothes...and then I was thinking...I don't want Linx to get him because I don't want him half dead and have to deal with that....I don't want him fully dead either. Think quick. lol Luckily we have a porch off the back of our bedroom so there's door....I opened it, then I put Taylor in the bathroom bouncer...strapped her in but didn't put the play toys attachment on it...I was in a hurry.....I was in a hurry to make sure this bird didn't poop, half die or fully die in the house. I called Nick. Why...partly because it was funny and I wanted him to know. I go back and there the cat sits and no bird. Did he go out? I didn't see him go out. I looked for him...and so did the cat. It was cold....I wanted to shut the door but I wanted to make sure little birdie fled. I hear Taylor crying so I locked Linx in the room, go to the bathroom to find Taylor with her hands on the floor still strapped into the bouncer, not able to get back up...but looking at Luke in his swing. lol She is so darn nosey...I should have known without toys she's try to get to Luke. I released Linx from the room when I didn't hear any more sign of the birdie... although she laid in the room all day hoping for a encore. How did the bird get in? Who knows! There are some interesting things that happen when you have a house that was built in the 1800's. Birds have gotten in the attic....but now we've replaced the roof and the cat seemingly chased him up the stairs or else she saw him from the stairs. Anyhow....it's a mystery. My excitement for that day. Funny thing is...I think I called Nick because I would have forgotten to tell him if I didn't tell him that moment. Isn't that ridiculous. That's just how my memory is these days. The other funny thing. I actually hoped I had my camera upstairs so I could take a picture of the bird on our bedroom fan. It wasn't upstairs. :( lol Clearly obsessed with the camera.

Story Time with Luke & Taylor

Lets read a book together.

psst....mom's looking we better share.

See how good and innocent we are?

She loves her brother.

Strike a cute pose.

He loves his sister.

So much that he lets her have the book and is content watching her.

Ut oh...the book fell.

Good thing we still have hands to chew on.

Moment over...we got the wiggles...what's next?
