Remembering Uncle Milton

My Uncle Milton passed away this morning. He was 84 years young and was a hard working farmer. Today, I've been thinking back to my memories of him. As a kid I adored my Uncle Milkin. That's what I called him. Every Sunday night our family would gather at my grandparents house and Uncle Milkin always sat in the same spot. He always sat on the step in front of the door that led upstairs. I'm not sure exactly what he did to win me over. But I always wanted to sit on his lap. He never said much but he didn't have to. I always felt comfortable around him. The men of the family did't get much of a word in edgewise in the large scheme of things. :) I remember my Dad and him talking softly and taking it all in as my aunts all laughed to extreme loud and high pitched decibels. :) Keep my Aunt Marie and cousins in your prayers over the next few days. Thanks.

Oh Rob... I'm so sorry to hear about your Uncle. I'll be thinking of him and hoping your Aunt Marie and family are doing okay.
