me to taylor: umm who's elmo sticker do you have?
taylor: silence......
luke: (comes running over screaming): LUKE'S!!!!!!!! (or GUKE as he says)

taylor to me: (whispering): mommy shhhhhh ali (our dog) is sleeping.
she then runs over to ali....and screams.......ALI!.......ALI!.......ALI!!!!!!!.......
ali lifts his head to look at her....
taylor: HIIIIIIIIII ALIIIIIIIII! as she waves :)

Update

Luke had a followup docs appt today.....Doc said he's still wheezing....so keeping on with the breathing treatments....he said he should be better by the weekend...he said his ears still look pretty sore but a few more days of the antibiotic should kick it. :)

Taylor is still coughing but not seeming to have trouble breathing at all.

Sick

:( almost 3am...just getting back from the ER with Luke. He was short of breath and restless....nebulizer treatments again. He also has double ear infections and a spot showed up on his chest xray......still don't understand what that was....they said viral or bron-something pnemonia? He was wide awake the whole time saying hi to people and giving the peace sign back and forth to a decked out brotha......was cute. Come home and Taylor is coughing terrible........can we get a break? Exhausted.

More Snippets

I love that Luke loves to draw. :) He draws basketballs and tractors. :) He draws very good circles. :)

Taylor's SIT sounds like a bad word.....she says to Luke.....NO SIT and to our dog.....SIT ALI......can't help but chuckle......she's getting better though...but sometimes she slips. lol

Today Taylor got in trouble for hitting Luke...she's bit him a few times too. She's fighting back now. Anyhow......she had to SIT.....and she was crying and Luke brought her her bunny...then brought a book over and looked at it right up against her. :)

Snippets

I'm realizing that little snippets may be all I have the ability to write about these days. Facebook status updates are so much easier. lol.....so here are two from today...

Taylor keeps saying "Mommy" in the cutest voice then kissing and hugging my hand. :)

The Shock and Awe look of Luke when he gets yelled at for doing something he knows he shouldn't makes it very hard for me to not laugh and stay serious.

...and then

While I was changing Luke, Taylor picked up her dirty diaper and Luke said, "Eww Gross" to her. lol

Taylor for some reason decided to try and bite Luke so she had to sit still with no toys and Luke walked up to her pointing his finger at her, saying "Sit"....wow that's payback and then right after though he tried bringing her a book and then gave her her bunny which she was crying for.

Last night I was reading to Taylor on the couch and she started clapping her hands at Luke and telling him to bring all the babies and stuffed animals to her on the couch. She named them out one by one and had him bring them to her.

Luke put some "little people" in the mailbox of their house toy and Taylor opened the mailbox and said... "Babies in the mailbox!" She was very surprised and excited. lol
